I like all the ghost types in pokemon, im trying to get a ceruledge for my playthrough this time my fire ghost type last play through was chandelure, i actually was around when pokemon first came here to the us, my grandma got me a binder full of the first gen cards for a birthday as a kid

And it's because of the Genwunners and the casuals that Gen 8 has hardly any story, hardly an evil team, too much Kanto pandering with Champion Leon's Ace being a Charizard, new Region Forms plus evolutions and all that stuff. For goodness sakes, stop with Kanto. There's so much pandering that I hate the region.

Idk to be honest i find this Fanbase to be pretty toxic.. There's the genwunners. (Don't even get me started on the anime genwunners they're just as bad.) And then there's the amourshippers or xy fanatics. God forbid you have one criticism about the gen 6 anime and games... Not to mention people keep bitching about how ash didn't deserve to win the alola league but yet they would have complained had he lost regardless.

The problem is you are saying G1ers aren't real fans. Now, I grew up with Unova and Kalos, and so I don't know the minds of G1ers, but they are fans, but only of the game. And only of Kanto. They don't care about the anime, or the company making the game. That's what sets the apart in my eyes.
