On Latias going with Ash:

I feel like Tapu Koko just wants to have a good fight with someone, and because he's a deity he can see beyond normal sight, so he saw that this kid has potential to give him a great fight.

I love the idea of Tapu Koko being Ash and Pikachu's mentor figure. It's shown to be far more of an active diety in the games as a protector so the idea of it seeing some potential in the two and being their mentor figure is great.

Ash talking about “I’m gonna catch em all” when he began his journey but he’s letting legendary and rare Pokémon go like that, I’m sad he did that

If Ash caught Ho-oH, then the whole franchise will end in just 3 episodes

the thing is ash just doesnt like legendary's caught, they have a certain job like kyogre has the job to produce water and groudon the job to create more land and rayquaza making sure they dont fight and so on, if he catches them, problems can be caused

Ash caught Meltan with a Pokeball. That's a Mythical. He finally has a legendary/mythical. TBH I also see it staying because it ditched the other Meltans when he caught it.

Ho-oh being caught by Ash would be a great way to have Ash end his journey since he would have earned the respect of the Pokemon that's motivated him all his journey.

I wish Pokémon was real...

Honestly, a lot of Ash's encounters with various Legendaries just in the anime makes me wonder if all the ones who know him ever group up together somewhere and discuss things that happen in their own regions only for one to mention this kid with an abnormally strong Pikachu and ten different Legends pop up like, "Oh! We know that kid!" It would range from Ho-oh seeing him after that storm to helping save Kyogre more than once to Zekrom and Reshiram and the Kami Trio telling of their own separate encounters (plus the whole Meloetta arc) to Xerneas and the Zygarde Cores mentioning him along with Bonnie to the Island Guardians revealing that, surprise!, Ash is the newly-crowned Champion of Alola. It just seems like a lot of fun interactions between the Legends, just talking about all of Ash's adventures they might have seen or even directly encountered him on.
