I got mine in July before the $400 rebate, was around $8k out the door with a good local shop, sad I didn't wait for the rebate. I'm loving the green/black on mine. Be warned with that Allen Key for the left side, as the toolkit fails to include it, so if you drop it on trail you'll be stuck smacking it or pulling on the mirror to re-position it unless you add one to your kit.

Looks like the Headlight and the rear light is very similar to the KLR 650. Idk.. Starting to wonder if I should have got the KLX 300 vs the KLR 650. Though with a slip pipe and airbox mod on the KLR I have a lot more power. Ohh and I second what you are saying about the Big Dealerships, its horrible dealing with them. My wife went to buy the KLR for me as kind of a "surprise" although we had talked about it a lot... But yeah... she knew exactly what she wanted, and got dinked around for 3 hours, and then still... I got home and the paperwork I got had a different VIN on it, so then I had to go back and get the right paperwork, and not to mention, inside the book was a completely blank "pre-sale checklist" haha. Which... I went through everything anyway, but still... Back to my point, I love the KLR 650 for on the Highway but that heavy bike is very hard to ride in anything soft. Just too much weight up front. I do like the 650 adventure with the OEM LED lights and hard Paniers though, and then I find out that in my state the law says "You must have at least 1 but no more than 2 headlights" Not that its a good idea to run the "fog lights" on the road, but on the backroads where there are dear and whatnot I like to run em.

I like quiet bikes too, but that exhaust weighs like 21 pounds or something crazy. The Delkovic pipe with the baffle in sounds pretty smooth.

I just bought one (klx300) today 7/27/24. It’s a 2024 in the gray. It was $5499 plus all the other bs TTL. I was riding a 21 CRF300L. Older rider here (62). Thanks for the vid. 🏻

What’s the fluid behind the extra fender piece on the left side? Looks like windshield wiper fluid . Ride safe.

Great bike, I always buy my bikes from someone that but 4,500 miles and stopped using it. Those are the best deals. You gotta wait and constantly check websites but its work it. I got my klx300 for 4,750.

open up the air box, get a tune, aftermarket exhaust, change sprocket one tooth lower, it’s a new bike runs real good.
