Description

What an awesome idea! I thought I had seen it all. To those who say it's too dangerous, I think your better off just sitting in front of your computer. Much safer there.

We can not work a day without this machine. Our woodcutters like very much this invention. When broken throttle cable, or any other fault, I have to fix it immediately. It may seem that this machine works slower than other systems, but the operator is less tiring and requires fewer stops. Using this machine, at the end of the day the production is higher than using the traditional style and the employee is more satisfied.

To all the people saying it would be easier to just use the chainsaw normally have never done a full day blocking up firewood. having the saw at a nice working hight like this would be awesome. and as for safety. the thing doesn't even move. if you cut your hand off with this. you definitely shouldn't be using a chainsaw normally. Good job!

Great design and functionality for cutting small limbs.

This is a very good idea and looks to be built well too. Another reason why the side extension would be a bad idea is the piece that is cut might become caught between the chainsaw and the side extension. By the way, the English is very good!

Very cool. Better oiling on the top side of the bar, and you can have a cart under it to collect the processed logs. But it's a lot of labor to fabricate, and you now have to drag all your big branches to a single location, instead of cutting them up in the woods where they are limbed.

Joan Olaria I absolutely love your idea and thoroughly endorse it, I am building one of these at this time, OK it may be "dangerous" in some peoples eyes but so are motor cars, cigarettes,

Nice job bud!!! I think I would add a bumper block side extension to make consistent lengths. I will probably build one of these. Thanks for sharing!

Nice little set up. I personally would just junk up the wood the normal way. Mr. Murphy below calling the usual way stupid is wrong. Its a personal thing, no need to insult.

Looks like all the wear is in one place on the bar. Can you adjust where the contact occures?
