Fun Fact: In France, children get a full hour to eat, a four course meal including dessert, and a different cheese option every day. And most French schools spend less money on food than America.

These animations and voice-overs feel literally like a show you'd see on TV. Amazing Job! I hope my production quality is one day just as good

In my high school we had a deal where you had to pick out: a main dish, a side, and a drink, in order to qualify for meals. But sometimes people just didn't want a whole meal or they didn't like what was available etc. So, rather than throw food away, we started putting the food we didn't want (packaged wise) on a specific counter for anyone who wanted it and it turned into an official place where students could get free food. It always made me happy that my fellow students saw a need and took steps to fix it. My school didn't have the best reputation, but at least I can say that no one ever went hungry.

Public School: Have A Healthy Lunch!

Oh boy this makes me appreciate more the meals I had at high school in France. They were cooked everyday by an onsite chef and his team, and it resembled an actual meal: entrée, a main course with greens, proteins and carbs, cheese and a dessert (and mini baguettes, because of course). Also water was the only drink.

In Australia we had what we called the traffic light system. Healthy foods were green, "healthy" junk food was amber and junk food was red. No school was allowed to sell food that was in the red.

My elementary school had “shrimp poppers”. Being that we literally lived in Minnesota, nowhere near an ocean, they were soggy, mushy, didn’t taste good at all, and made the entire lunchroom smell. And God I’m glad they don’t serve that anymore.
