Just like cutting a tree down with a saw, the operator must consider how and where the tree will fall and if it will get hung up on anything when it begins moving. Another thing to consider with the bucket up high hitting a tree is if the tree breaks, then slides back at the operator between the ground and bucket. Anyway, you've obviously graduated from this misadventure and moved onto more exciting equipment adventures. =)

Yikes, what did you think was going to happen.  I can't think of one possible good outcome ramming a tree with the loader low down like that.  Best case scenario is coming to a crashing halt.  Next is breaking your loader, worst is what happened to you.  You were really lucky.  pushing trees over is a bad idea, but if you're going to do it, at least raise the loader and ease into the tree, don't ram it.  You were nearly killed.

Thats why they gave those types of trees " Widow Makers"  sell the tractor please and hire someone to plow your driveway for your own safety .

hey I wanted to point something out when you push at the bottom like that the top usely wants to come back put the loader high so it make it want to fall away from you
