The U.S Navy would have quickly evacuated all of its resources and personnel to the sea or islands, same for the U.S Army, Air Force and Marines.

I bet nobody didn’t make it out since the boats and helicopters are making too much noise since the rescue crew was heading to their deaths.

Cool to see American logistics deal with the situation, less than 24 hours and evac is set up, attackers are identified. My only gripe is why didn’t they put speakers on the helicopters, play fortunate son, lure all of the things to a football stadium and then air strike it?

I find it silly there’s a helicopter hovering near the port where allll the boats are going, there no way they don’t realize there’s a god damn horde chasing the ones around the city lol

The military should just be able to hover over the city with Apache gunships and pick off the Death Angels one by one with Hellfire missiles. The fact that they have literal plot armor that makes them invulnerable to every weapon conceived of by humans is something I just can't get past. If they were somehow smart enough to hide, or capable of using projectile weapons of their own, I might be able to get more into the world.

The movie is good. Had me at the edge of my seat, hand in mouth and quiet as a mouse for their sake. But they really held back the on-screen carnage in this one.

How can helicopters get off the helipad in the first place? Won’t the alien attack any operating vehicle? I think only aircraft carrier would have safe operating areas. Other than that air base would have been first target for the alien. Turning on jet or helicopter from air force base would instantly attracted the alien.
