This doesn't make me happy...but I love Demi just because she is an actual person and knows what it's like to be in mental pain for a long period of time

i started when i was 11, i'm 15 now and i can't stop even if i'm happy. like i don't want to it's just an addiction. if you are thinking "i'll try it out it looks like it'll help me" please don't because in the lonng run it gets worse

Demi is my idol she has helped me through so much..she has taught me that even people like her go through things in life....and that all you need to do is be strong and keep your head up high! I luv u Demi!!!

People who cut themselves just want to feel wanted, like they mean something to someone.

I love her so much! She is like a role model for me, she passed thru so much things and she is so strong

you know it takes alot to talk about something as serious as this and thats the reason she inspires me and shes my idol shes beautiful talented and brave and strong and i a so proud of her and happy for her

I started in high school and i am now 24 and i still do it.. i go through a lot of mental pain and so I cause myself physical pain to relieve and release the mental pain. Is like i open a door in my skin and i let the pain out..

It's good to hear someone else say - "I saw other people do it and thought it was a way to deal with my feelings" because I was 11 when I first did it and it was the exact same situation.

I did it when I was 10 and honestly it doesn't hurt, just numb

She seems like a good person! My first response was to dislike her, because of the music she makes (Yeah, I'm a snob.) but watching interviews with her, and seeing all the support she gives to her fans, it's really sweet!
