Who cares if not all of the audience thought it was funny, its the fact that they aired this on tv which is sick.

If the equivalent happened on a "male-oriented" show, the advertising would be immediately pulled, there would be people losing their jobs, or the show would just be outright cancelled - "mindless chatter" or not. Do you not agree this is a double-standard?

Look, whatever mental gymnastics you want to go though to try and convince yourself this was OK, it's not disrespecting men, or whatever, stop lying to yourself and admit that what these women did was wrong. It wouldn't be acceptable if men do it, and it's not acceptable when women do it. Grow up and deal with it.

Would you like it if, when you were talking about your experience of oppression as a woman, a black person came along & said - "You don't know what you're talking about. You're not oppressed - You're white. You've never been oppressed.". You're doing the same thing here.

I'm still left unclear as to what feminism is actually all about. Often people tell me they're "true feminists" who strive for equality between genders but half the time feminism is described as just a women's rights movement. I'm for equal rights in every aspect, but don't consider myself a feminist.

I understand that you may not have researched your own thoughts on these matters untill now, but I urge you to do so, while simultaneously researching topics such as Men's Rights Movement, NAWALT, and Feminism. @TheZoso6767 in america, there is affermitive action for women. Feminist groups like NOW have plenty of political power.

In the beginning, you say he can't chunk all women together; yet you chunk all men together saying that no men were horrified or threatened by the incident.
