Hello & welcome! ♥
ZQ is a place of many purposes:
• An archive of rarities, B-sides and other unreleased work by the phenomenally imaginative and inventive British electronic duo Underworld!
• Collating the cosmic ambient drone music of the late Klaus Wiese (1942–2009) and Gianluigi Gasparetti, aka Oöphoi (1958-2013).
• Releasing my own music, which I record under 3 discrete aliases:
❊ Zones Quest, an experimental dark ambient project incorporating ritual, kosmische, freeform, lo-fi, drone and musique concrète influences.
❂ Œsçülês, a wacky and wild instrumental hip-hop/illbient project inspired by J Dilla and Nujabes.
❀ Osců Riěn, an eclectic downtempo electronica project inspired by artists like Vidna Obmana, Nihilist, Move D, Ruxpin and Lusine ICL.
• Sharing esoteric obscurities from a variety of genres.
*THANKS TO ALL LISTENERS, COMMENTERS AND SUBSCRIBERS!* ♥

Fun fact: Klaus used approximately 75 discrete singing bowls - or Klangschalen, as he knew them - to produce the spectacularly dense drone masses that dominate each of the three tracks.
