At the names part, you can use a portmanteau of an insect/animal and a musical instrument, or a corrupted word of something that is on the monster or something on the monster is similar to. Examples: Pluckbill is a portmanteau of Duckbill and pluck. Tiawa is the word tiara, but corrupted.

Tip(i guess): If you know animating, make a layer for each piece of the monster, and then, just make the animation! Hope this helps
