THE WWE ALSO DON'T RECOGNIZE HULK HOGAN'S WORLD TITLE WINS AGAINST NICK
RonnWinter1 (31 minutes ago)
Funny how WWE won't recognize the International World Heavyweight title... but yet they recognize the world title for both Smackdown and Raw during the first brand split.
unclequack5445 (46 minutes ago)
I just noticed, if Ric Flair had Black Hair he would look like Alice Cooper.
Black60Dragon (52 minutes ago)
The actual number is 21 World Championships. 5 of those NWA Reigns were overturned.
srsquadii441 (1 hour ago)
I honestly think that 26 is not even correct yet, I think it’s actually 31 world titles because there is the one reign he had as NWA Missouri Heavyweight Champion and then 4 reigns as NWA Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion but I’m still not sure if these were single titles or world titles, What do you fans think?
CLM1987 (1 hour ago)
I've always felt not counting those International WHC's were dumb, WWE Acknowledges those when talking about Rick Rude as a former World Champion and when mentioning Sting as a former World Champion. Matters little to me if WWE recognizes all 26 or not, he still is a 26 time World Champion no matter how bad WWE refuses to admit it.
He was now 27 Championship because on his birthday he got a championship belt

I tried telling one of my co-workers, who is a huge wrestling fan, that Flair had more that 16 World titles. He argued with me...

Antonio Inoki defeated Bob Backlund in the Tokyo Dome for the WWWF Championship. When they returned to MSG, they didn't even recognize their own championship title change. And you think they'll recognize anyone else's history?! (To his credit, Backlund himself recognizes the title change, even refusing to wear the belt again until he won a championship match in the ring. The title had to be carried to the ring by an official at the MSG show.)

Wooooo 26 times world heavyweight champion Ric Flair
Korilakkumasusie (19 hours ago)
Yeah but he lost it to everyone
CharlesSmith-rn6qv (1 hours ago)
Key words “not recognized by wwe” just because he won 26 championships doesn’t mean wwe has to acknowledge each of his championship victories, come to think about it the more championships you win that means you lost it as much as you won it, so to protect rics legacy they purposely chose to only acknowledge 16. That’s not lying that’s protecting a legendary career of ric flair
