You know, in these days of violence and illness, of mistrust and dishonesty, of cruelty and death, we need someone like Mr Rogers back on TV. Now more than ever before.

The best part about Mr. Rogers is that he never spoke down to you. He never talked as if you had a lesser understanding or no experience. Even though he knew his audience was overwhelmingly small children, he never belittled their intelligence. He just talked to you like a friend having a nice conversation.

I read somewhere that one time, a gang of thieves stole Mr Roger’s car, and the next day the car came back and he found a note that said “If we knew this was yours, we wouldn’t have taken it”.

I’m almost 40 and that man still comforts my soul.

Thank you Mr. Fred Rogers. You may be gone but you’ll live on

He was too pure for this world

Whenever I think of “I like you just the way you are” I just wanna cry hard ;(

Mr. Rogers is my idol. He died when I was only 3, so I didn't know the significance then. But now, as a preschool teacher, I strive to be just like him.

I didn’t grow up with Mr. Rogers, but the fact that he exists in the archive in the internet is great. It’s been such a wonderful rabbit hole to follow.

Just wanna let everyone know that it's okay. Things will get better. Just keep your head up. I'll always here if anyone needs to talk.

I'm from ireland and I'm 50. I wish he was on irish tv. I suffer from depression since I was I child and I found Mr Rogers on youtube. He is a saint that is above all religion and above governments. Is is a treasure to all humanity. We need more people like Mr Rogers. He is pure love
