Actually, TOEI has cels that show the sky in some of those scenes were originally green with other colors below it, depicting what time of the day it was. The blue sky in some of those “corrected” scenes are inaccurate. Dragon Ball Kai colors are the closest we have to the “intended palette.”

Why is the sky so green on the Dragon Box?

Plus, when you look at the original animated release, the sky is blue. Plus, if you look at the sky in the real world, the sky is still blue on a clear sunny day.

Blah, I really dislike how they always remove the film grain for these releases. It ruins the linework, honestly. Just look at the original broadcast versions and how crisp they look in comparison.

@eliasz0002 well if u have all the seasons why buy dragon box i know about the crop and brightness but why waste money .but yeah of course dragon box is better much better but i dont see the point .. ill only get dragon box on episodes i dont have
