Nothing better than the good ol cow signal!

Kind of interesting how they use a cow moo'ing for a test.

The mooing I believed they wanted to put a little fun into testing. Haha!

OK, real talk though, I find it both funny yet pleasing that they chose to use cows mooing as part of the weekly test. Because if you live in a place like that, you hear the sirens go off all the time, and if they're using their actual alert tones for the tests--then you become desensitized to it when there's an actual emergency or assume the sounding is 'just another test'. So this helps prevent that, so people only hear the alert when there's a real emergency, but the civil defense can still test the siren as needed to ensure it will provide a variety of audio!

Not only does it seem odd to have two 3016’s facing different directions as opposed to a single 2910 (32 speaker drivers as opposed to 10), but that tone has to be harsh on the drivers.

I saw that a few months ago and all other cannon beach sirens and it was really cool

Imagine you dont know its a warning siren and you just hear cows mooing before a tsunami impacts

Ah yes. is supposed to tell us to take shelter/warn us of a Tsunami. Makes perfect sense.
