Solution:

If u stay in the statue room the correct sequence will appear on the wall, upside the statue

all you need to do is be patient in front of the covered statue with the music box playing and above it the answer forms in the fog very clearly

I just played this portion blind and spit out my drink in laughter when the dog randomly absorbed the artifact and scurried off screen with that music playing

would have made me died of laughter if the camera instantly zoomed up on frisk's face. lol

For anyone who's confused: I tried a thousand times and turned the sound on at the last time, which was what made it work. You HAVE TO HAVE THE SOUND ON. Otherwise it will not work. (Press Z + Enter for the dot, and Z + the other arrows to play them, sound helps tremendously.)
