I miss the time when i wasn't afraid to go fast. Ever since i crashed while on my road bike doing 50km on a decent its never been the same, on cars bikes and motorcycles.

When I am sitting in a fast vechile my brain just thinks to an accident

I have tachophobia and it only affects me if things are moving too fast then they should or if something gains speed in an instant

I am not afraid of death but my heart is like it's like having a heart attack in a speedy vehicle

I'm also suffering from tachophobia.. i'm afraid to drive fast & also If I'm sitting in any car/bike & that car/bike is speeding then I'm scared

I have a different fear...while the vehicle starts moving and accelerating at higher pace i feel anxious but subsequently i feel at peace even at higher speeds

Idk what the hell happened to me but now i can’t get scared and curl up and scream when the car goes fast or a bus idk how it started I was never scared I mean yeah roller coasters and fast rides yeah but never in a vehicle i would have to try and put all my energy to forget about the car or the fact I’m in a car it’s so hard idk what the hell to do

This is literally me for no reason even tho i have no trauma from speed

I dont know if its is called this kind of phobia but my body shakes while i am suppressing my panic whenever i am riding a vehicle speeding more than the speed i am used to or take for an example a passsenger jeepney speeding on a highway or even sounded like its fast even if it is not too fast...

Been suffering for like 10 yrs now. It really is a struggle for me to live everyday most especially if I have to travel. I couldn't even enjoy a simple bus ride once it reaches 80 km/h cause my fear will cause physical symptoms such as shortness of breath, tightness in my chest, and dizziness. I also never tried riding a roller coaster or any fast moving amusement park rides. What's more ironic is that, I am a Psych student and yet, here I am. I am hoping I'll recover soon once I'm capable and can afford therapy. For anyone who's experiencing the same thing, just know you're not alone.

Plz help me in knowing if i have tachophobia or not...because i fear badly when i sit on someone's bike for riding...

I got this phobia when I was 15 or 16 I think like I literally scared when the car is going faster and I don't know how to conquer it
