Just a minor nitpick, open matte just means uncropped. The normal version here is technically open matte as well because it's a full size render, just with a larger shield. If you render the intro at its full resolution, crop it for scope, then crop that back to 16:9 or 4:3 for pan-and-scan (as opposed to shrinking select elements and re-rendering the whole thing), then the others can be considered true matte variants.
