The Authority have not been "Confirmed" for the movie. Infact Gunn has addressed this, saying he never said any of The Authority would be making an appearance. The only confirmed castings are Superman, Lois, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl and Mr Terrific, with Jimmy Olsen being a confirmed yet uncasted side character as of now.

bringing in Crypto disappoints me. the multiple heroes had me concerned, i was hoping he would start off with a origin movie. but he's good at having more than one hero and not making it feel stuffed but crypto is a little much. i think it's going to be a corny movie because of that. i will go see it hoping for a amazing movie but i won't be shocked if it's disappointing.
