Dragon Ball Z The History Of Trunks introduced me to this song. And it brought me here.

This track is the climax point of the album scenes from a memory, which is one of best albums created by humankind.

I first heard Dream Theater around 1999 when I saw Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks and I've enjoyed them ever since.

Fun fact: When you listen to it on headphones, you can hear Julian's gambling from the left headphone and Edward and Victoria's affair on the other one.

Incredible song, incredible sound. There is so much going on at once in this song its astounding. So full, no empty spaces within it. Detailed and complex, each person in the band showing their true virtuosity.

It's complex but clear, not all is being fast or extremely virtuous. The songwriting, melodies, meaning, all these have more importance to make a true masterpiece. Dream Theater was highly inspired in this album. I personally miss the style of the 90s and early 2000s in Dream Theater since then.

Everyone talks about the main riff sounding like Tool, but no one talks about 8:41
