the right animation in the new song really represents how truly in control he is, the goofiness is funny but also disturbing, not only that but the look of him just shows it. and it's very accurate to the PC port considering how powerful he truly was, even more powerful than the original sonic exe, and the fact in his down animation he closes his eyes and not paying attention is a good detail. if they make a whole mod just about him it would be 10x harder than the original sonic exe's songs

While Execution's ost is really good I honestly feel that Cycles goes way harder. I just love the sound of Lord X's voice, it's indescribable. bonus points for having a unique voice that isn't Tricky vocals edited too. But I even with those my biggest highlight has to be the sprites. That "Get a load of this guy" look he gives to Boyfriend is enough to make this Lord X my favorite one lmao. It's like he's taunting him or has some kind of sass.

What’s crazy is Joe himself took up the mantle to give the base poses, background, and animation. It explains why Lord X feels like himself here, it’s because in Joe’s canon… he’s a heavily experienced Sonic.exe.

A very noticeable difference is how Lord X's vocals in Cycles aren't the same as Execution's, which means they stopped using overfiltered tricky vocals.

I prefer the new one, Lord X actually got some personality and evolved from his first version "ooo i'am spooky i'am gonna kill you" guy into chill smug demon who's mocking boyfriend.

Execution's vibe is more like "I'm an evil creature and you'll be dead in a second", while Cycles is more like "Let me show you how worthless your existence is"

Cycles all the way man, his sprites, animation, background, vocals and all is perfect I'd say. Execution had alot going but in terms of how the song was charted, it was meh, considering some youtubers who played it were a bit upset that the song ended so soon. I think I cycles was a huge step forward, quite literally stepping every aspect of what execution was, into something better.

i always thought lord x's overhead hand pose (the left one) looked really cool so i'm happy that they gave it to sonic.exe in the newest update instead of just replacing it completely

I loved execution but I viewed cycles as a evolution from it, I am genuinely saying I think it’s better than execution, they’re both so fun to play but cycles has got to take the cake
