hardest thing about this riff is maintaining that speed. even after you get it down if you're out of practice it all falls apart lol

This riff is so much harder than it sounds, I think making myself drill it and learn it when I first started playing helped me a lot

On for example the first chord, I can recommend picking upwards on the D-string and downward on the G-string, and then keep that pattern for the other chords. However, I can't play this too well myself. :)

this riff is freakin impossible. I've been trying to play it for like 3 months

I used a metronome to refine my technique for this riff, started at like 85 BPM and really focused on keeping myself relaxed while keeping my technique sharp and eventually I was able to play up to 105 BPM which I believe is the tempo of the song? It’s either that or 100 but ye that’s what helped me but I mean your tone is fucking crisp and you still played it really well.

Gotta finish the whole glass of water to hydrate before playing 'Snow'! You did great! This is my warmup before playing, and I don't play it as well as I'd like, but it gets the blood flowing to both hands! What impresses me is the need for the ability to sustain playing this for as long as you need to for the song. You're praying that the bridge arrives as soon as possible!

This is a very hard riff to learn! I usually play this riff without a pick. I know it's not the original way of playing it, but it is much easier and it sounds incredibly clean!

That strum of frustration at the end is something we've all done

You have my respect. It's one of the hardest riffs to play on guitar.

lol, that last note had a punch of zing to it. It’s like saying, “Lights out? Fine. Be that way.”

Imagine having to play it for 4 minutes, while standing and simultaneously singing background vocals
