Have you noticed the structure of the tracklist? The songs go in pairs exploring opposing or similar emotions or situations (for example State of Grace vs. Red, Treacherous vs. I Knew You Were Trouble, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together vs. I Almost Do, The Last Time vs. Stay Stay Stay). I call it the “Mosaic Broken Heart” structure. The bonus and vault tracks can be inserted into this structure and they sort of complete the puzzle. For example The Lucky One vs. Nothing New, Everything Has Changed vs. The Moment I Knew, Come Back Be Here vs. Message In A Bottle, Better Man vs. I Bet You Think About Me… It’s pretty fun once you notice it.

Forever Winter isn’t about Cory it’s about her best friend Jeff Lang who died from an overdose but was highly thought to be a suicide. She performed at his funeral the day after winning an award and you could see in her face while accepting the award the sadness she was feeling.

you will be surprised to know that she has so much say in production of these songs, like she doesn't goes around accepting what producer wants to make it sound like. she literally tells them to add this that's why she also has a co producer credit on most of the songs she owns now!!

Taylor wrote Better Man and Babe but gave it to two other country artists. Both songs were big hits for them. Taylor put them on this album singing them with her own style. They were such good songs that they sounded good no matter who sang them.

Girl at Home is also one of my favorite energetic songs by her. You have a great taste!
