Wake up a shade of grey, don't know if I'll ever be okay.
Was I once? I can't recall. I stare into the void, drinking my coffee.
The warmth I can feel inside, the only thing I can feel anymore.
Anxiety every time I set foot out the door.
Breathing, am I? My head is spinning. I feel lightheaded.
September 6th to October 17th,
home was the only safe place so...
I stayed.
18th, enough energy... 19th, a familiar schedule starts.
I tear down the wallpaper beneath the painted walls,
the pieces on the ground where they fall.
What's the point of continuing? Because I made it this far?
What will change after I'm done?
Hold off. Do something else. Listen to music and comedy.
Yeah that seems good. Drown out the voices stuck in my head.
In a whole new world away from me.
Look into the mirror, flooded with "reality".
I'm not you. I'm not you. I'm NOT YOU!
Tears fill and fall. I have to "live" with "you" for now.
Back to the music, back through...
the cycle.
New day, same old ways.
