As a colorblind person I can confirm, it is literally impossible to see in the nether, even on max brightness

For anyone who is confused, pink and teal appear as a light blue or gray since those colors are where George’s green and blue cones meet. Most Trichromats need all 3 cones to be activated to see grey or white, but George only needs 2 to be activated to see grey or white. this is why the diamond armor being a shade of teal (activating the green and blue cones) turned to a light grey.

They should make a texture pack for George where the only difference is that diamond armour are coloured purple for us, so that it shows up as blue for him. At least that way he can tell the difference between diamond and iron items
