Actually there was one pun in Dinosaur Planet. The narrator says, "When grazing Maiasaura are out standing in their field. And that's where Daspletosaurus love to find them, out standing in a field."

The plot twist is that they stopped laughing cause they noticed him and wondered where the weird man with the strange language came from and why he was speaking to a metal box held by another equally unknown man.

How do we know they couldn't talk or at least imagine to an extinct? For example, it takes imagination to have to make clothes out of wooly mammaoth and sit in a cave all day eating and choking on a piece of bone that's humures.

You'd think those Neanderthals would be like, "Who the hell is that?! And what the hell is he wearing...?"

Well, they wouldn't understand the joke anyway, seeing as the English language didn't exist back then

Plot twist: the Joke killed off the entire species

Neanderthals actually created art, suggesting imagination. In fact, the very act of coming up with ideas (e.g. how to use a tool or a rock to kill a mammoth) requires imagination, so the doc is a bit outdated.

If you mean life action, yes. If you mean "did this really happen?", then possibly. But we can't be sure without being there for ourselves.
