always have found it interesting just how different the english and japanese versions of X4 are typically seen. one became an absolute joke and a farm for memes and the other is considered near perfect.

For anyone curious, if you buy the Legacy Collections from the Japanese storefront(at least the Switch version), they all have the voiced songs for every game, but the western Legacy Collections don't, even if you are in JP mode. Except for Mega Man Zero 4, it still has the voiced ending song if you are playing in JP mode on a western version.

X4 really was focused on Zero, when you get the full picture.

In X4 you see Zero and X at their worst. In Z3 Cyber elf X see's his copy destroyed and moves on happy knowing he never went maverick and used the last of his life force to protect Zero from an explosion. In Z4 zero finally found what he was fighting for during his battle and final moments on ragnarok. Great writing once it's all expanded on in the zero series

Nice. This and the other JP theme restoration mods will be the main ones I go to for the X legacy collection.

This and the Command Mission openings are always my favorites with JPN music.
