M1903 Springfield, stripped down with a 25 round extended magazine. These were developed for use by the Army Air Corps so that crashed pilots had a fighting chance. The magazine was so big because a pilot couldn’t have stripper clips bouncing around the aircraft, so having all 25 rounds in a single place helped a lot. They were also very lightweight and compact so they were easy to have on any aircraft. Not too many were made and very few were used in service. Many people call them “air service 1903 Springfields” or something, though they were never truly adopted.

I want perfect loop of this where Mae never runs out of clips and keeps loading for 10 minutes straight.
MrGunny2009 (18 minutes ago)
To the newbies of the gun world, a perfect example of what is a clip and what is a magazine.

When she reached for the fifth clip, I just froze in sheer bewilderment. And for a split second after loading it she made a weird hand movement and I thought she was about to take a sixth one. Good thing she didn't because I just wouldn't handle it. Jesus.

For 1904, this was an absurd level of fire-power. Dope weapon.

I'm always impressed how Mae can stripper clip load so well against the spring pressure. That takes both technique and strength. I lmao at how she pulls ammo out of everywhere. Fun stuff

Just be honest, you really had fun filming these 42 seconds. Even though we couldn't see your face while you were loading it, we know you were smiling from ear to ear.

You guys actually found a 1903 Air Service. Gun Jesus smiles upon you this day.
flinchfu (9 hours ago)
Back in the day, you had to manually reload VHS cassettes with clips.
