I joined the USAF right out of High School in 1976. First assignment NORAD Cheyenne Mountain. Next PAVE PAWS Radar, Cape Cod, Mass. I spent Dec 1982-January of 1984 in Woomera, Australia! 5th Satellite Defense Communications Squadron, Nurrunga. Loved Down Under. Where I was there was a woman behind every tree. Problem--no trees! Went to Adelaide EVERY break.
May of 1986 was a special time. Just sewed on Technical Sergeant, got married, honeymoon in Hawaii, starting a new life together in Fort Washington, Maryland. Just wanted to have some tunes I might have seen on MTV back during that month.

After 7 years at the puzzle palace, went to San Vito AS, Italy, in 1991and then to Ramstein AB, Germany in 1993. Left Germany in 1997. Retired from USAF in August, 1998, at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery Alabama as a Senior Master Sergeant.
