I had always wanted to watch the Korean version. So glad to finally be able to check this one off of my bucket list.

The ring will ALWAYS have one of the BEST scariest scenes.

Fascinating to compare the different versions, this is like mix of the 1995 version and 1998 versions of Ringu, like a weird remix of scenes from both prior movies, but transplanted to Korea.

A very underrated version. It’s not perfect, but the cinematography is excellent and it has a very eerie atmosphere. I always found it to be a “bridge” between the Japanese and American films. It still has that unique Asian horror flair, but with a bit more mainstream appeal.

I liked this version. Like listening to a good cover version of a favourite song. Thanks

This version is a combination of the book, Ring: Kanzenban (so far the closest one to the book) and Ringu 1998.

When I watched The Ring back when I was in HS, I couldn't sleep for days. Now I'm gonna try watching it as an adult. I'm desensitized now so it should be easier.
