Great vid! I'm here because a wren flew into my house last night when I opened the front door. It must've been sleeping in the wreath that was on there. Eventually flew out. Would've loved to have it as a pet, but it was already grown and probably better back in the wild.

A baby carolina wren JUST got spooked out the nest less than 30 mins ago. Spent 15 mins chasing it through bushes and shrubs. Finally got it back in the brid house and the mom didn't even wait 5 mins to go check on him and the others. He had full feathers, but still couldn't quite fly yet.

They have centuries of imprinting even as wild birds so they are easy to raise. I feel like wild wrens mostly look at people as friends because of their instincts—“garage wrens” is what they are called a lot. I caught one in a mouse glue trap on accident and it was perfectly fine with me getting it out of the trap and releasing it.

I have a fern at my house that had Carolina wren eggs in it. The nest fell out and all the other eggs broke but one (stormy). I built a make-shift incubator for it but I don't really know how to take care of stormy. Please help! Also, stormy is still an egg.

How can I know if a bird can be returned to the wild? I am raising an orphaned baby wren (he is a fledgling) and he is very tame. He wants to be with me all the time. He snuggles too :) Can he be rehabilitated? I don’t keep him in any cage and he is outside all the time (he flies back to me). Please help :)

Yep that what I have in my bird house outside on the porch. Five babies chirping every time a parent brings goodies. I breed meal worms so I help them out with a dish of gut loaded worms on the railings... Trying to power level the little guys because I move in three weeks and want to take my bird house with us.
