My favourite disney princess is by far, Kida. That said, I'm glad she's not on the official list otherwise she would have way more crappy merchandise.

This one may not be a "princess" per say, however like Mulan, despite her being saved from "burning at the stake", I think Esmerelda has shown an act of heroism. I think she's the first Disney character to pray, and her prayer is for God to help the "Outcasts". I always like me some women that always put others before themselves, like my girl Belle. Don't shit on my Belle, I'll cut you >_> But I still think Esmerelda is a pretty underrated character.

There's a princess that is soooo underrated that you never see her on fanarts, you never hear of her and you didn't even put her on your top of underrated princess : Maid Marian from Robin Hood.

I'm so glad someone gave Kida her rightful recognition. Atlantis was a great movie, and deserved way more recognition

This is a little off topic but do you guys know that the woman who was the voice of Snow white never got to sing again after the movie came out because Disney BOUGHT her voice. They wanted Snow White's voice to forever be innocent and unique so they copyrighted that woman's voice. She was literally denied any form of music career.

Tiana is underrated. Even if she is a part of the official Disney Princess line up, she is still unpopular compared to Rapunzel or even Mulan. Most people don't know her name and misspell it. She is often an afterthought. Quite sad, as Disney should have made a more memorable film for it's "first black princess" but the movie is largely unappreciated and never left an impact.

Nala was not a princess but a Queen.  She did not become Simba's mate until after Mufasa died and Simba was the (rightful) king.

I was waiting for Melody (Ariel's daughter) to be on the list because she's literally the princess of the waters and the princess on land, but everyone still tends to forget her.

Kida should definitely be at 1. Disney should give her more credit

why does everyone forget about princess Melody. also known as Princess Ariel daughter. she is never mentioned. there was a little mermaid 2. it was big and yet????

I know that what I'm about to say is off-topic, but Disney should seriously make a Treasure Planet part 2! 

Man, I haven't even heard of like half of these movies!
