You played well. One thing that I notice with lots of Green Day covers is that they go over the top with distortion and in reality, you only need distortion about half way (maybe a little less depending on amp). It might sound bad at first but if you mess with the equalization and compare it to the recording, you can get pretty close. Other than the distortion, it sounded good! Keep it up!
