I'm drinking to Lemmy and Bowie. They were heroes for more than one day. Cheers!

This song was played at my dads funeral and I couldn’t have thought of a better song to honour his memory. Lemmy was an idol for my dad and my dad is my idol. May they be having a drink together wherever they are.

Without a doubt one of the very best, and most legendary, covers ever played in musical history... R.I.P. Lemmy you are most sorely missed.

I met Lemmy one night at a strip club in Las Vegas. I walk in the joint and there he was - leaning against the bar looking like a fuckin' rock star. I walk up and ask him if he wants a shot of whisky. He says Jack Daniels. We chat for about 5 minutes then I leave before wearing out my welcome. In general, you should never meet your heroes. But, every once in a while, you meet a good guy that just happens to be a legend. That guy was Lemmy.
