Shooting stars can spawn even before Celeste visits. I got some at my first night.

If I knew what to do during shooting stars I had a wand right now...

There actually can be clouds when shooting stars can appear. As long as the sky isn't completely covered by clouds, you can get them.

So my friend Aaron and I can confirm that when you have a shooting star or meteor shower on your island, you CAN invite another person via online mulitplayer to come and join you and the stars wont be affected by you both being there. If you wish upon 1 star, so can your friend upon that same star with no consequence. Also: Shooting star sessions can last all night, as Aaron and I were able to get to 200/200 of wishing upon stars within an hour.

Does anyone know about more wands than Star and Bamboo? Bc i myself own a cherry blossom wand and im sute theres one with snowflakes or mushrooms too and id like to know

Soo... Celeste never came. I missed a meteor shower, and you could probably guess that I was very pissed.

For me, I knew about the shooting stars because of what Tom said on the news. Also, I got super lucky the first time I wished. One large star fragment and two Taurus ones.

I wished on 71 shooting stars and got not even a single star fragment of any sort. Wonderful
