If you watch scenes where Goku is serious Masako Nazowa CAN make a serious voice when she needs too, and it's epic. I grew up with the Funi dub, but I am smart enough to realize the talent in the original as well, so please stop dissing the source material

I think when Goku saw the needle, he got the wrong idea. Once Vegeta tells him, "Don't be such a baby! What makes you think I'm doing that?", Goku's like, "Oops! My bad!"

People didn't get that Goku is actually more childish, silly, and isn't a hero like in the dub

you didnt get it, it was toriyamas idea to give goku that voice to show that he is stil childish. that is the original goku
