When I had bunion and hammer toe my bandages were changed in 5 days. I’m glad my bandages weren’t left that long because dried blood hardens and feels very uncomfortable. And my k-wire in my second toe was left in for 4 weeks.

Hi! I just had this surgery 2 weeks ago it does hurt so bad I can't wait to recover and get back on my feet. Hope your recovery was good and your back on your feet.

I am sorry that you are having so much pain. I had a bunionectomy 3 weeks ago. I only had to used the strong pain medication for the first 3 days. After that I have been able to use regular extra strength Tylenol.

You are correct it hurts so bad, l was planning on having surgery on right foot .l have changed my mind. I go back Tuesday get the bandage off. Just to see that they put another on. I so ready for a regular shower

I’ve had bunion surgery and it is painful, but nothing compared to a knee replacement!

The foot should have been elevated higher than you did, supposed to be higher than heart level. If not, you’ll need longer to heal, have more pain and swelling
