Okay. Bob is actually an AI that lennon was obsessed about while creating him. But because he only existed in the computer world, he wanted to bring it to life. he was so fixated on it. He created this weird black goop so he could be in there with him. But it lead to some nasty effects. That goop is the dark side of bob as it was on him. That is why he turns into a demon sometimes as in onslaught and run.
