It's amazing to me to see how easily those rocks pop out of the soil there. In Az, our ground has so much clay and caliche that you have to dig all four side and get underneath to literally break the bond and loosen the rock.

If you choke that boulder with a strap, you’ll be able to drag it anywhere you want, you don’t need a sled. I have the same tractor and have dragged some good size boulders with no problem at all.

You might need a rock sled to move the rocks.

Dig the hole deeper and put the rock back in and then cover with dirt
