It was William Shakespeare who coined the famous phrase Et Tu Brute (you too Brutus) when he (Julius Caesar) was being attacked by 20+ senate members, he yells out those words to his close friend (Brutus) who was wielding a dagger. A phrase we often refer to when a friend is disloyal or when they are back-stabbing commonly used in politics as you would expect.
