It’s crazy to me how many hosts or sponsors are deluded and think that if they sponsor a giveaway, they’ll instantly get thousands of engaging fans. If your content is shit or your own giveaways are worthless (I’m talking to you, pinned $5 giveaway running for 7 days hosts) then I’m unfollowing after the giveaway or muting you if I see you sponsoring on a regular basis. You gotta spend money to make money but some think if they just sponsor a couple of giveaways then they’ll be sorted. I guess it’s even more difficult now because they are easily 300+ more hosts running giveaways than there was back in the day
