My friend played Payday 3 without playing the previous games, he had a blast going through all the heists for the first time, we played them all twice to see the differences between loud and quiet . Then after finishing them all he never played it again. Sums up Payday 3 pretty well “you’ll have a blast if you haven’t played the previous games and only want to play each heist once or twice”

Waiting in payday 2: You can collect side loot to increase your overall haul in the heist. You can find items that either makes future objectives easier and or faster. Random elements that changes from run to run to actually make the waiting feel unique and different everytime you play.

payday 3 feels like a game made by people who are making games to keep the lights on where as payday the heist and early payday 2 feels like a game made by people who liked the game they were making
