if you pause it at 0:55 you can clearly see his wife's (it came out that this was his wife in a cheap monkey costume) heel lifting out of the 'bigfoot' slippers he made for her, not skinned from rugged terrain but that was a clever way to explain how the mishaps of her foot coming out of the costume.

Watch the whole documentary, keeping it in the context of the 1970s, and see some of the best footage in the last 15 minutes.It is a mind blower.Rates among the best I have viewed on this tube.As for the disabled footage, compare to BFFB breakdown of the Ohio footage for examples of hemaplegic cerebral palsy in Sasquatch People. This is a really weird movie. This is practically the only footage of Bigfoot in the whole 2 hrs of this "documentary".The melodramatic narration goes non-stop over footage of bears, Mountain lions, squirrels and other woodland fauna. It's almost like a prank phone call from Grizzly Adams put to Mutual Omaha's Wild Kingdom imagery.
