As fun and hilarious as this is wouldn't a meteor impact followed by a devestating eruption eject tons of dust into the atmosphere resulting in low moisture as well as less sunlight? I mean, of course realism is not the main concern of this animation considering Collin here lasts for four months and reaches windspeeds on 1,100 mph and a pressue of one.

Might as well have 1 hurricane that covers the entire surface of the planet. That would make about as much sense.
