That might've been the most interesting dialogue Jimmy has ever had in the entire game.

Jimmy represents the very gamers who play GTA and miss the 3D universe.

Fun fact: Shawn Fonteno (Franklin's VA) actually voiced one of the Grove Street members back in San Andreas. It was the big guy with a green bandana on his head.

My favorite line from Franklin is when Lamar just tells him "You look like Chop trying to read when you do that focus shi". The abilities are canon

I'm almost certain that the 3D universe characters/events exist in some way in the HD universe. The entirety of Lazlow Jones, the celebrity stars in Los Santos, Toni from Flash FM and Flashback FM appearing on a billboard in the east part of Los Santos, and various other things all seem to imply that even if the events of the 3D universe didn't happen, the characters most certainly still exist somewhere.

Honestly, i want to theorize that the events of GTA:SA most likely happened in GTA:V. What i mean by that is how 3D-SA is its own world, while HD-SA happened in GTA:V, maybe with little differences here and there.

This is why I let all the characters talk all of their lines before arriving to my destination.

There's literally ZERO reason for the 3D and HD universe to be seperated. I've heard some people say that it was done because the city layouts are so different between games, but Chinatown Wars IS considered to be within the HD universe and its version of Liberty City is very different to GTA4, so there's really no excuse for the universe seperation.

There’s so much evidence a version of SA happened in the HD universe. This dialogue, OG LOC on a record in Franklin’s house, and a picture of CJ in a barbershop seem like proof to me.

Who would’ve thought a newer game with the same name in the same city in the same state made by the same people would have anything to do with each other

I really wish we got a DLC where you can play as Franklin or even Lamar and you can start gang wars and take back Gang territory’s like GTA SA
