I watched Legends of the Hidden Temple during its 1st run on Nickelodeon from 1993 to 1998. And then during its 2nd run for a brief 4-week run on May 14, 2007.

Top 3 classic Nick game show I loved how the six teams of two competed to retrieve one of the historical artifacts in the Temple by performing physical stunts & answering questions based on history mythology, geography. After three elimination rounds only one team remains, who then earns the right to go through the Temple to retrieve the artifact within three minutes and win a grand prize.The Temple Guards, always scared the crap out of me as a kid. I alwayz thought I could do so much better than the kids on the show, but I never got my chance.

Legends of the Hidden Temple was originally conceived under the title Secrets of the Haunted House where monsters would jump out and frighten contestants while they try to complete challenges within the haunted house.

It's to bad, there's not like an area of the park of a museum where we can actually walk through the Temple and other sets like that. I'd have loved to at least been able to walk through the Temple once.

They need to bring this, GUTS, Double Dare 2000, Figure It Out and all other Nick GAS shows back
