holy jesus, I played this game so much and never found one star

Me: I've beat Braid. I should try to get that special ending!

In a game about time travel, with an in-built mechanic of speeding up time forwards and backwards it's a crime you have to wait actual hours in real time for this stuff

Wow... some are simply impossible to discover. WHO has discovered the one in the house?

Great guide, I can't begin to imagine how in the world someone first discovered the location of some of these stars, particularly the ones in world 4 and 5 with the walking key and the shadow juggling. To this day, I still wonder if there's some incredibly complex means of speeding up the cloud in world 2.

Darn, I've already assembled the 1st and 2nd paintings on my PC copy of Braid. So is there no way to get that Star now? Nuts.

that was very helpful, i just finished the game and completed all the puzzles, i was aware of the stars but only tought i could get them trough the speed runs....good thing i checked here, i would have never figured out that 1st star, i did saw the cloud because of the puzzle but never that it moved O_O,

Sorry if this has been said already but I found a good tip for 6-5. Once all the plants are aligned you can sit to the left and then give yourself a couple of seconds. Then wait for the plants to submerge and repeatedly hit shift to freeze them in place. You also don't have to worry if the goblins hit you because you are frozen in time. Then just wait for a couple to walk past and continue as planned.
