Pretty sure X sonic was design to tear through these maps

X sonic here has gotta be the best interpretation of how sonic should move in a 3D environment. I love how he can just zips through to a specific direction and can be controlled by making him skids while keeping a bit of momentum to choose the next direction to go. The one who creates the X sonic character really put so much care here.

Modern Sonic V6 and X Sonic are going to be rivals, but X Sonic being able to climb walls gives him an edge that the others may never be to overcome.

This was very engaging to watch. Good gameplay. Good commentary and explanations of what’s going on. And it really felt like it could be up in the air who would be the fastest based on all the factors involved.

You must do this again when modern sonic v6 release,Im pretty sure he will be much faster than v5

small clarification for the xsonic invincibility frame thing you mentioned when dashing, it’s not that he gets iframes, it’s that his hitbox shrinks down to that of the average spindash, which can go under/inside the lower parts of the lasers for some reason. SRB2 issue more than anything.

I'm actually shocked that Super Sonic came in second place with how barebones he is, but his flight and invincibility made up for his lack of speed I guess.

Timeattacking with Modern, Adventure and Junio is also how I found out how OP Junio really is. If not for Super who can just fly over everything, he'd be 2nd to X and even then Junio has the best double jump in the game that lets you skip almost anything at any time + his speed seems almost uncapped compared to every other Sonic. Junio can probably tie with X Sonic here which is fitting imo since he embodies the CD intro after all!

Honestly though Junio would be 4th or 5th, I'm surprised he came in third with his lack of movement tech compared to the others

The fact that they put in the stupid stinger that plays every time X Sonic does the ring dash is amazing I love it

This is pretty cool! Maybe, once theirs a few more Tails mods, we could see who the fastest Tails is!
