Such a lovely lady

People often complain about keeping gorilla's locked-up in captivity...but, I doubt Colo would have lived such a long life had she been in the wild. I could be wrong...but it just makes sense with the zoo having a veterinarian on staff and plenty of food to eat...thus, ensuring a longer lifespan for any gorilla. Not to mention being safe from hunters, etc. What a touching tribute and I do admit that it brought tears to my eyes. Rest in peace, Colo.

Colo had a beautiful life and rested in peace.
