@diatras It only looks that way because Gohan hasn't cut his hair in a long time. Shortly after this, maybe directly, Goku says it is time to cut Gohan's hair since it is getting so long.

DragonBallZs consistency bothers me sometimes, obviously goku isn't ssj2 here an what not but the electricity when he powers up? Then in babidi saga you get gohan who's questionably ssj2 with the hair but no electricity in his aura :/
